Thesis statement options for argumentative research paper.

1) "Locker room talk" leads to violence against women.

2) The acceptance of "Locker room talk" points to a larger issue of acceptance of violence against women.

    I like your second thesis more, because you use the word acceptance. I think it sounds like more of a claim.

    I agree with Hadley. The second one is strong. These are test runners so we are all working on our wording. I can't wait to see the final statement. After watching a lot of Law and Order: SVU I would like to know why this is okay and the way it leads to violence against women.
